  2. What an interesting read! Viral marketing does play a huge role in our digital marketing era in order for businesses to boost their business. I have seen a lot of my friends doing the ice bucket challenge before as well, that it definitely one of the most successful campaigns I have seen. However I feel that with all the benefits going viral could bring to your business, we have to be prepared to take the good with the bad!

  3. Viral marketing does play a huge role in digital marketing. However, it is challenging to make every content go viral. Sometimes no matter how hard you try and what format you use , it just doesn’t take off. And there are times where people’s content that they did not intend, becomes viral. So my point is, keep generating and working on these creative content and with the right format and luck, one might just become viral!

  4. Interesting read ! Viral marketing can indeed make so much impact to build awareness. Believe it or not, i’ve also participated the ALS challenge. It was kind of the “trend” or should i say bandwagon back then. However, i joined the challenge purely to spread the awareness of the disease. I did my part to donate afterwards too. But i do know some people who did the challenge purely just for fun. This shows that there could be cons to such viral marketing too. Don’t you agree?
